Brain tumour surgery could be life saving-
The patient came to the emergency room in unconscious state with dilated pupils. CT scan showed a large tumour mass on the right side of brain.
Emergency craniotomy (opening of skull) was done and a large tumour was totally excised. The tumour was reported as a Meningioma ( a non malignant tumour). The patient survived and made a full recovery without any residual neuro deficit. He was back to his previous job in a months time.
